Our soil is depleted of these minerals, therefore so is our food and so are WE.
This deprivation has a SPIRITUAL effect.
Minerals protect our cells. Magnesium being one of the front liners.
When we lack that protection, our entire body and aura become more susceptible to absorbing negative energy that brings us down + keeps us from expressing our purpose.
Protecting your cells = protecting your energy.
Protecting your cells = protecting your purpose.
Protecting your cells = protecting your spirit.
This is why people often share having more vivid, enchanting visions when they’ve been drinking cacao or upping their magnesium & organic mineral intake.
When your cells are protected- so is everything else. Magnesium and other natural minerals like it serves as armor against the density and negativity.
It protects you from all the energetic bombardment so that you can experience your purpose- 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑘𝑛𝑜𝑤, to feel JOY.
Plus it contains the “bliss” molecule, anandamide… gives a much appreciated mood boost and gets that creativity flowing. With your mood lifted and your cells nourished and protected… you can expect to feel divine connection.
It’s gentle. Calming but uplifting.
It listens when you stir your intentions in & offers inspiration for actualizing them.
How to infuse cacao with your intentions or energy protection?
While preparing your ceremonial cacao, as you stir- recite intentions such as:
“My energy is protected from any negativity.”
“I call forward only energies that resonate with the highest good.”
“I am divinely protected and divinely guided”
“I am inspired to be my best self and contribute positively to the collective.”

Where to get ceremonial cacao?
I have an entire article on this here: The Best Ceremonial Grade Cacao: Cups of Magic You Have to Try… but in summary I have two recommendations on where to buy cacao.
I choose to source my cacao from ethical & sustainable companies. My two go-to cacao suppliers are:
–Soul Lift Cacao: my go-to for pure traditional Guatemalan cacao. They support indigenous female operated collectives in Guatemala who prepare cacao in the traditional way. My favorite option from them is the Heart of the Earth Cacao Paste.
–Ora Cacao: has more diverse options and sources cacao ethically from all over the globe. They have options from Peru, Belize, Guatemala, and more. They also have several offerings that include different complimentary ingredients like rose, lavender, reishi, lions mane, turmeric and maca.
Your best bet is experimenting and trying out different cacao for yourself! You will come to find your favorite or at least your “go-to.” When ordering from either Soul Lift or Ora, you can use discount code “BLOOM” to get a discount! Let me know how you like it!
How to have a cacao ceremony?
I also have another post here on cacao ceremony if you’re interested in learning more about having your own. That being said, you can include ceremony and ritual in your daily life. It does not need to be a huge event or require maximum amounts of effort. Simply setting your intention to be more mindful, more blissful or more creative as you drink your cacao in a grounded manner can be ceremonial.
You can also carve out a dedicated time for cacao ceremony to focus on deeper healing. There are many free ones you can join online (Ora Cacao offers this: Free Virtual Weekly Cacao Ceremony). You can also research locally and see if any cacao ceremonies are offered in your area. Ceremonies are typically led by a facilitator who will guide you through a healing experience and allow you to connect with others as you expand your spiritual understanding of plant medicine and how its used to heal.
As always, if you have any cacao questions- leave me a comment!
With love and gratitude.
