When you’re on the path of fulfilling your purpose and manifesting (creating) the life of your dreams- learning how to raise your vibration is an essential key to success.
But sometimes when you hear phrases like: “high frequency, high vibe only, raise your vibe dude, or just raise your energetic frequency” it can invoke the perception that feeling “low-vibe” is bad.
In reality, we can’t truly and authentically feel “high-vibe” without the existence of its opposite.
Within the human experience it is natural and inevitable for us to feel things like grief, sadness, depression, heartache and struggle.
So as you explore the concept of raising your vibration and open your mind to new and exciting ways to do so, remember that this practice is not intended to be a way to bypass your real, human emotions.
Acknowledging, processing and releasing (or accepting) where you are at CURRENTLY is the healthiest way to raise your vibration and create a life that inspires you with joy.

How to Raise Your Vibration: 75 Ways to Elevate without Bypassing
1. Ceremonial Cacao Ritual

2. Journal Release (Morning Pages)
This is a practice from Julia Cameron’s book The Artist’s Way, a must-read! She shared the journaling practice called Morning Pages there and it’s become a very popular ritual, for good reason.
I recommend getting her book and giving it a good read, but for starters- to raise your vibration, practice journaling for 5 minutes straight, right when you wake up.
Don’t worry about editing or grammar, just do a “brain-dump” and get everything thats on your mind out on the paper, first thing in the morning. This type of release is very healing and supportive of having clear, elevated energy.
3. Gratitude
Gratitude is one of the highest frequencies there is, and practicing it is one of the most powerful ways to raise your vibration, seriously.
I got into the habit of recording a voice-note, every morning, with the following:
- Things I’m grateful for
- My goals for the day (in gratitude form like: I am so grateful I finished all my errands today)
- My future desires (also in gratitude form like: I am so grateful that I achieved my goal of paying off all my debt.)

4. Bay Leaf Release Ritual
I have an in-depth post about using bay leaves in your rituals here, but simply put, to elevate your vibe by working with bay leaf you can do the following:
Option 1- Write what you need to let go of on the bay leaf and do a burn ritual (explained in bay leaf post)
Option 2- Write what you desire on the bay leaf and do a burn ritual or manifestation ritual (explained in bay leaf post as well).
5. Love
Practice self-love, love for others, love for nature, love for animals and love for humanity. Love is one of the highest vibrations there is and the more you focus on it and give it out to the world, the higher your vibration will be.
6. Invoke Your Senses
Citrus scents like sweet orange and grapefruit are very effective at elevating your energy. You can diffuse them to raise the vibration in your home, or you can wear them with a carrier oil to bring that high-vibe energy with you all day.

7. Generosity
One of the most impactful, feel-good things you can do is practice generosity. This doesn’t have to be material (though it can be), it can also be with intangible things like your time, your support, or a listening presence with someone who needs you.
8. Spend Time in Nature
The only medicine our vibration needs is nature. If you’re wondering the easiest way to raise your vibration, get outside! Go for a walk, stroll by the river, through the forest, or anywhere else you can get connected to mother earth.
9. Work With Crystals Like Citrine, Selenite and Sunstone
These three crystals carry a very positive, uplifting energy. When your vibration needs a boost, I recommend working with citrine, selenite and sunstone.

10. Spend Time Around People Who Inspire You
Hang out with positive people or those who you find inspiring. Its important for your wellbeing and your vibration to be in contact with people who bring good-energy into your life.
11. Consume Media That Inspires You
If its lowering your energy or bringing you to a place of fear, doubt, or sadness- turn off the media. That means change the channel from the news, stop doom-scrolling on social media and stop giving your energy to any type of media that doesn’t make you feel good.
12. Burn Palo Santo

13. Breath Work
Practice breath work (tons of free resources on youtube!) or focus on taking deep, mindful breaths.
14. Visualization
Visualize how you want your day to go or what you want your life to look like. Sit in silence and bring the image of your desired day/life to mind. Observe all the details and really try to see it in your minds eye.
15. Meditation
If you’re wondering how most people raise their vibration and learn to overcome the qualms of the ego and the mind, it’s through meditation. It’s one of the best spiritual wellbeing practices you can do.
Remember, meditation doesn’t have to mean you sit in silence and try to stop your brain from thinking thoughts. Simply put yourself into the observer mode, observe your thoughts and be present with what comes up. Practice grounding if you feel your mind is full of chatter.
16. Move Your Body
The body can sometimes hold onto dense energy or emotions that are no longer serving us. To practice good self-care and help raise your vibration- moving your body is a must.
Things like dance, yoga, walking, cardio or lifting weights are all wonderful, healthy ways to raise your vibration by connecting to your physical body.
17. Feel Your Emotions
Especially when you don’t feel high-vibe, it’s important to look at what you really are feeling. Acknowledge your true feelings and let yourself fully explore the emotions you’re experiencing. This is critical to avoid bypassing and partake in fake-positivity (aka toxic positivity).
The more thoroughly you process your emotions, the quicker you can raise your vibration. Acknowledge, process, release, accept.
18. Frequency Music
Play solfeggio frequency music to raise your vibration while you sleep, or in the background of your day. I recommend Meditative Mind on Youtube.
19. Forgive
Are you holding onto anger, hurt feelings or resentment? It may be time to forgive. Forgiveness is like a balm that can soothe the spirit and soul. The more you can forgive (but of course, within a structure of healthy boundaries) the higher your vibration can soar.
20. Nourish Your Body
Eat foods that come from the earth. Avoid anything processed and try to eat nutrient-rich foods. Check out local farms and try to source your meat and produce from there. Guaranteed to elevate your vibe and make you feel your best.
21. Eliminate Toxins
On that same note, avoid eating things with chemicals (pretty hard these days) by sticking to unprocessed, organic, from-the-earth food. Same goes for cleaning products, perfumes, body products and candles. The less toxicity you expose to your body, the easier it is for your spirit to remain in a high vibration.
22. Eliminate Toxic Relationships
Same goes for relationships, if its toxic, let it go. Life is too short to waste time letting others drag us down. Stick to high-vibe friendships that feel energizing, not draining.

23. Set Boundaries with People or Things that Drain You
Sometimes we can’t always completely eliminate people we find draining from our lives. When this happens, learn how to set confident healthy boundaries and practice good energetic hygiene in order to preserve the relationship AND our high vibration.

24. Embrace Optimism
If you’re wondering, “how do I make my vibration higher?”…a great way to do so is by choosing to look on the bright side of things. Always look for the silver lining and choose to view life with an attitude of gratitude. When negativity or pessimism starts to creep in, acknowledge it, then make the choice to rewire it with positivity.
25. Listen to Uplifting Music and Media
Play music that makes you feel good and uplifted. Same goes for media- podcasts, social media accounts, blogs, and other content that makes you feel good.
26.Unplug
Take a break from consumption and especially, social media. Spend time away from electronics and give your energy some time to recalibrate. Overstimulation is a huge detriment to our focus AND to our vibrational state.
27. Create Beauty and Comfort in Your Home
Tend to your sanctuary. When you treat your home like a temple or sanctuary by keeping it clean, decorating it with things from nature or decor that makes you feel good, it will naturally become a space that raises your vibration. Imagine giving offerings to your home or adorning it with things that feel spiritual to you.
Even if you don’t live in your dream home yet, make your current situation as beautiful and cozy as you can.
28. Align Your Chakras
This can be done through meditation, reiki, yoga, breathwork and more. I recommend the book Western Body, Eastern Mind to learn more about the chakras and how to align them.
29. Clean Your Home
As mentioned above, keeping your home clean and treating it like a sanctuary will help to keep bad energy out and good energy in.
30. Practice Shadow Work

31. Cleanse Your Energy
I have a full post on this here (energy cleansing for empaths), but making it a habit to practice good spiritual hygiene is a must, especially for sensitive people. When you keep your energetic field clear, your vibration naturally can remain at a high state.
32. Release Negativity
Get a piece of paper and write down anything negative on your mind or in your life. When finished, get a fire-safe bowl (this one doubles as an incense burner) and burn the paper completely. Try to make this a meditative practice, or a ritual, where you focus on the intentions of letting go and making space for higher vibrations to enter.
33. Cry
If you need to cry, cry! Release emotions in a healthy way so that you can feel lighter and therefore have a higher vibration.
34. Release Emotions
If there are other ways you need to release your emotions besides crying, do so. Maybe you need to scream into a pillow, or break something (safely!). There is nothing wrong with expressing your emotions in a healthy way and it is a great way to clear out the old and raise your vibration.
34. Communicate anything on your chest
Holding things in only creates pain for ourselves. If there is a conversation you need to have, a boundary you need to set, an expression you need to share- do it.
35. Avoid Complaining
Complaining actually decreases our vibration and highlights the negativity around us or feeds into our challenges. Try to avoid complaining and watch your vibration soar.
*Note: there is a difference between complaining and expressing emotions in a healthy way!
36. Avoid Self-Pity and Victim Mentality
It might sound like a harsh truth but, pitying yourself and maintaining a disempowered mindset will only prolong your suffering and keep you from manifesting your dream life.
By all means, if you are in a challenging spot or have been dealt a hard hand- it’s ok to acknowledge that and seek support. But the mindset that you don’t have the power to change your life will not serve you or your future.
37. Reiki
Practicing reiki on yourself or receiving it from someone else is a beautiful way to raise your vibration.
38. Drop Defensiveness
Getting defensive can hinder your spiritual growth and lower your vibration. If you want to maintain a high vibration, remain open to what others share with you, even if it’s hard to hear. Sometimes hard truths help us grow and become happier and more successful.
If it triggers you, that’s fine, but remember that when you feel the need to get defensive, it is likely your ego trying to step in and protect you from getting hurt. Let your heart lead you, and you’ll find the urge to get defensive decrease.
39. Be Present
Instead of mulling about yesterday or worrying about tomorrow- be here now. Try not to escape the present moment by numbing yourself with too much tv, media, or addictive substances.
Grounding yourself is a great way to stay present.
40. Study Your Numerology Numbers
This is part of my method for getting to know yourself and finding your purpose. Studying your numerology is a great way to feel good about yourself and find some clarity on your potential path. I recommend the study of Chaldean numerology.
41. Study Your Astrological Birth Chart
Similarly to the numerology, knowing your astrology chart is another great way to keep a high vibration. When you know who you are, what your strengths are, what your weaknesses are and what you’re meant to accomplish in this life- it makes it much easier to maintain a high vibration. 42. Study Your Human Design

43. Burn Incense
Incense burning can raise your vibration by helping you to be in the present moment. Depending on the scent, they can also invoke positive feelings that will help you to raise your vibration.



44. Wash Your Hands
This is a great, convenient method for cleansing your energy when you’re in a pinch. If you ever feel like you’ve picked up on some bad vibes (or even if you just need a quick soothing, self-care ritual to raise your vibe) hand-washing is a perfect ritual to have in your toolbox.
45. Sound Bowl
This Tibetan Singing Bowl is one of my favorite tools for raising the frequency around you and your space.
46. Travel to High Frequency Areas
Places like the ones listed below are all powerful, high frequency areas. Some call these Vortexes, but however you call it, visiting there you’re sure to feel a presence of high vibe energy thats sure to rub off on you.
- Stonehenge, UK
- Glastonbury Chalice Well, England
- Ubud, Bali
- Machu Picchu, Peru
- Sedona, CA, USA
- Anywhere in nature that’s a perfect circle or has natural swirls
47. Be Decisive
Although it’s hard to be decisive sometimes, especially when faced with a tough decision, the energy of decisiveness goes hand in hand with confidence. When we feel confident, it’s likely our vibration is high! Try to cultivate more decisiveness by working on your root chakra.

48. Create a Manifestation Box
I have a whole post on this here, but in summary, a manifestation box is a box you put together in a similar way you would with a vision board. The manifestation box gets filled with things that represent what you’d like to manifest, in this case, more good energy and a higher vibration.

49. Create a Vision Board
A vision board is a compilation of images that symbolize what you’d like to manifest or create in your life. The ritual of creating a vision board is a great way to get into a higher vibration as you focus on what you’d like to call into your life.
50. Discover (and live) your Purpose
I know, this isn’t always easy for everyone, but it is possible for everyone. Finding your purpose and creating a life that flows around the fulfillment of that purpose is essential to being able to live your life in a higher, more abundant, vibrational state.

51. Take accountability
Own that no one can change your life (or your energy, or your mood for that matter) except for YOU. Be accountable for getting in the driver’s seat of your life and making your dream life happen instead of sitting by and waiting for it to magically appear.
52. Be responsible
Responsibility goes hand in hand with self-care. Be responsible for yourself, your life, your mindset, your body and your purpose. When you embody self-responsibility, it’s much easier to manifest, take action on your goals, and vibrate at a higher level.
53. Play, Have Fun
One of the easiest ways to raise your vibration is through play. Think back to when you were a kid- what kind of activities did you like doing? Try to channel some of that energy into your day and tap into that child-like wonder as you embrace letting loose and having some fun.
54. Learn Something New
We expand the mind through learning, and an expanded mind is sure to help you elevate your life and your vibration.



55. Study Spirituality
Research gods/goddesses that inspire you, study ancient holidays or the origins of your favorite modern holiday. Study different religious texts. All of these things will empower you with a deep sense of wisdom that raises your vibration.
56. Create a Mantra
You can use mantras like these to raise your vibe:
- I attract good things into my life
- I am the luckiest person I know
- I deserve my desires simply because I desire them
- I give off good energy, and receive good energy in return
57. Work with the cycles of the Moon
Paying attention to the cycles of the moon is a great way to get in touch with nature. As we mentioned above, getting in touch with nature is a great way to raise your frequency. 58. Work with Color Magic
If you’re ever struggling to channel a specific emotion or vibration, an easy way to overcome that is by working with color. This practice is simple, all you have to do is wear the color associated with what you’re trying to feel or attract.
- Red: passion, love
- Blue: calm, peace
- Green: wealth, luck
- Yellow: self-confidence, motivation
- Orange: happiness, focus, energy
59. Write an abundance check
Write a check to yourself, with an amount that would make you feel high-vibe. This is a great way to manifest what you want and also get connected to the good vibrations that come along with achieving your goals.
60. Practice Scripting
Scripting is the practice of writing down your desires as if they already happened. Open up your journal and write down things like “I’m so grateful I achieved my goal of xyz.”
61. Connect with the Fire Element
Have a bonfire, light the fire place or even just lighting a candle is a great way to use the element of fire to raise your vibration.

62. Connect with the Water Element
Ways to raise your vibration with the element of water:
- Visit a body of water if you can.
- Make full moon water (leave a covered, glass container out overnight on the next full moon)
- Drink water that you’ve programmed with your intentions (simple as saying a prayer over your water and asking for what it is you desire)
63. Connect with the Air Element
Burning herbs like sage or incense that give off smoke are great ways to call in the air element to assist you in raising your vibration.

64. Connect with the Earth Element
Ways to use the earth element to raise your vibration:
- Practice earthing (putting your bare feet on the earth)
- Ground yourself
- Sit under a tree
65. Create a Circle of High Vibe Friendship
- Ceremony circles: attend cacao ceremonies (or host your own), full moon ceremonies or other community gatherings that are aligned with your desired lifestyle or spiritual practice.
- Tribe called bliss: this is a book I’m reading with a group of friends. It works sort of like a book club but includes friendship / spiritual growth related activities and prompts to discuss together. 66. Rewrite Your Obstacles
Write out all the obstacles you think could get in the way of your goal, or all the things that are keeping your vibration low. After, write out all the ways you’ll overcome those obstacles, or explanations for why those obstacles aren’t actually able to stop you from elevating.
67. Connect with Animal Medicine
One of my favorite ways to raise my vibration is spending time with animals. As a dog-mom, cuddling with or taking my dogs for a nice walk both make me feel very high-vibe.
68. Say NO
If there is something you don’t want to do but maybe feel obligated to do, or were asked to do, flex your NO-muscle. Its ok to say no, its ok to put yourself first sometimes, and its ok to stick up for yourself. You know the saying, “can’t pour from an empty cup,” …No helps your cup stay full. Honor it.
69. Sleep and Dream
Getting enough sleep is an easy way to stay living a high vibrational life.
Personally, magnesium and fulvic minerals both help me to get incredible sleep and I highly recommend both to everyone. Those both are also known to help induce more vivid dreams, and I can confirm that’s definitely happened for me!
Burning mugwort before bed is another great ritual you can practice to get deeper sleep and more vivid, lucid dreams.
70. Laugh
As often as you can, as loud as you can, as genuinely as you can.
72. Make an Action Plan, Create a Schedule/Routine, and Stay on your Path

When you write out your intentions, then break down all the action steps you need to take to get there (broken down into baby steps) things start to feel really possible, and your vibration becomes encouraged and elevated.
73. Get Some Sun
This is another one I can stamp with guarantee. Nature is medicine. Truly. And one of the most human, natural, and effective ways to raise your vibration.
Spending time outside soaking up sun rays, putting your feet on the earth, witnessing nature and breathing fresh air will do wonders for your spirit.
You don’t have to travel to the beach or forest to experience it either.
Even if you live in a busy city… there are always ways to connect with nature. In return, she will most definitely soothe, replenish and elevate your energy.
74. Pull Oracle or Tarot Cards
I like to pull a card most days as part of my morning ritual routine. It helps me focus on a specific energy for the day and maintain a good vibration. My favorite decks are: Astral Realm Crystal Oracle and Guardian of the Night Tarot.
75. Treat Yourself
If you can, a fun way to raise your vibration is to treat yourself. This could be by buying yourself a new sweater or dress, buying yourself a latte at the local coffee shop, or booking a massage. Whatever way you most love to treat yourself, do so, often. This signals an energy of self-love and thats a sure fire way to get your vibration raised!

When you raise your vibration- a ripple effect of positivity occurs. Making the conscious effort to be the orchestrator of your own energetic footprint and elevate your spirit will cause you to tap into acceptance, love, joy, peace and (eventually) enlightenment.

Its likely with an elevated vibration you will experience more flow state- moving through life with ease, alignment and inspiration.

Absolutely not. In order to truly raise your vibration, you must first feel through and heal the experiences that are keeping your vibration lowered. This can require the assistance of a mental health professional, but doesn’t always.
